For those who may be interested, this blog and website is being hosted and built on the Wealthy Affiliate/WordPress program. My site was hosted by another service but I changed because of the ease of building and editing the site on The WordPress platform, Also, any changes are instantaneous which was a major issue with my other webhost.
There are a few issues with spam or trash comments but it’s just a matter of emptying them to trash.
Today, June 20th we took a flight from St John’s International Airport to Ottawa. We are spending a few weeks in Arnprior with our daughter and family,
The weather, in St John’s was clear, sunny and 20 degrees with little cloud cover. Our flight took us over Kelly’s Island, Conception Bay. Always look forward to seeing Con Bay from the air. We flew over The Burin Peninsula and St. Pierre and Miquelon.
I always look for ponds that I’ve trouted in and for ponds that I would like to trout in. Plenty of ponds to choose from.
Our flight to Halifax had a fun group of Nova Scotia Rugby players. They were in Newfoundland for a game against the Newfoundland team. They were gracious in defeat.
An older gentleman had to be removed from the flight at Halifax airport for medical reasons. He had chest pains. Praying that he is ok.
Our daughter met us in Ottawa. We were surprise to see our good friend Joe with her. Apparently, his brother passed away and he was on his way to Gander.
The weather is hot and sunny here in the Ottawa area. The strawberries are ripe..Love those freshly picked strawberries almost as much as Cyril. (friend of ours five year old son who loves strawberries).
Looking forward to seeing friends, spending time with our grand-kids and our daughter and husband. We like the Ottawa area and The Ottawa Valley.
